Mr. Tonner is now in his 11th year of teaching. Following five years as a teacher and head of physical education in a secondary school, he was appointed vice-principal of Nobleton Senior Public School, then of Crosby before moving to Keswick. Mr. Tonner was elected to a seat on the Aurora town council in December. Moving to the principalship at Keswick Public School will be Joseph Lawless, former principal of Pine Grove Public School in Vaughan since 1974. The devotional service was held in the John Spanner Chapel.
