The township. which was the defendant in an action launched by the region last fall when it decided it would only pay the - percentage of r e g i o n a l l e v y corresponding to the percentage of taxes already collected, was backed up by the divisional court of Ontario Supreme Court. The court last week rejected an application from the region calling for a court order telling the township to pay the full amount.
