RICHMOND HILL â€" Sunday, April 17, is Bikeâ€"Aâ€" Thon day. In the past four years over $680,000 has been raised by the enthusiastic riders, who take pledges on a ‘per mile’ basis and then set out to complete the 20-mile course. Ken Foss of Richmond Hill is the marshal] for the north course this year. There are five other courses, the closest along Steeles Avenue between Bathurst and Islington. For the fifth year in a row, Tent 28 Variety club will be sponsoring this fund-raising event.
