York County board of education nominated three people for the Fred L. Bartlett Memorial Award, presented an- nually by Ontario Public School Teachers’ Association. The award honors an active or retired member of the teaching profession who has made a valuable contribution to education. ‘ Nominated were: Mrs. Mary Scott, a special education consultant with the board since its in- ception; Donald Camp- bell Attridge, head of the mathematics department at 'l‘hornlea secondary school; Jean Marion Swanson, who retired last December after having served as a master teacher of language arts here since 1969. The riders will be leaving the arena anytime from 9 to 11 am; They will ride up to 32 kilometers or 20 miles.
