Thornhill Secondary School had five firsts, two seconds and one third and Bayview had one second and one third. Girls won three of the first prizes. said exhibition chairman David Wallace. Enrico Zapanta, a Thornlea student won both the architectural and engineering awards for grade 11. The exhibition is on display until May 16 at the Hillcrest Mall. It was judged by a panel of architects, engineers and college teachers. First place winners were Duhee Lee, Susan Rodger, Enrico Zapanta (two) and Joel Starkman from Thornlea, Steve Walker, Sue Jackson from Thornhill, Jan McKibbon from Markham and Gerry Pottage and Stephen Evans from Huron Heights Secondary School. Vera Lo, 13, and her brother Michael, 11, of King’s Inn Trail in Thomhill will be two of the younger artists with work at Yorkminister United Church‘s 3lst annual exhibition.
