Plans Lions Golf Day to assist the deaf The net proceeds will be donated towards “Hearing Conservation" in support of the Hard of Hearing Camp and Deafness research. A Lions Golf Day is planned for June 18 at the Windmills Executive Golf Course. one half mile north of 18th Avenue, Unionville. The event, sponsored by the Markham- Unionviile Lions Club. is open not only to the Lions but to the general public as well. Also co-operating in the tournament will be the Stouffville Lions Club. Entrance fee is $12. Prizes will be awarded after each round with a grand prize being given for the best score of the day. A cup will be given to the winning Lions fourâ€" some.
