York Central Hospital in Rich- mond Hill is no exception, although it is more for- tunate than many others. Within the walls of Y.C.H. is a vast army of volunteers known as the Hospital Auxiliary. Before the hospital was even built, the Auxiliary was formed to help raise the much needed funds for the new structure. They haven’t stopped since. They are still very concerned with fund raising, and in 1976, they raised $35,000 for the hospital. Their services do not, however stop at fund raising. Most of the community is familiar with the pretty ladies in the coral smocks, who may be seen all over the hospital. quietly doing their work. These volunteers have several regular duties, some of which are: escorting patients from one service to another within the hospital, Failed to stop for speeding, police charge A man has been charged by York Regional Police after refusing to stop for a speeding violation on Bayview Avenue, in Rich- mond Hill. 9:50 11 AM 7:30 Charged is Shuen- Shuen Hong, 29, of Browndale Crescent, Richmond Hill. He will appear in court Aug. 29. Service at 10:30 am. and 5:00 pm death-again; Have regular medical check-ups. Wednesday Night 8 PM SUNDAY.
