By MILLIE STEWART 773-4424 OAK RIDGES â€"â€" Several young ladies from the Star Dance Studio in Oak Ridges were invited to dance at the Canadian National Exhibition last week in The Scottish World Festival. C-6 â€" THE LIBERAL, Wednesday. They are: Margaret Jackson of Aurora, Cindy Heavener and Cheryl Heavener of Oak Ridges. All of these young ladies have been doing highland dancing for three to five years. In order to dance in The Scottish World Festival, they are asked to dance for a committee and are then invited to dance in the show. WHEELHOUSE CLUB There will be an evening euchre at the Wheelhouse Aug. 29 at 7:30. The admission is only $1 per person, and this in- cludes refreshments. Everyone is welcome. The meetings of the seniors will resume on Sept. 13 and they will be held on the second Tuesday of each month. BOWLING The Oak Ridges. Lake Wilcox 5-Pin Bowling League will resume action Sept 9 at 9 pm. at the Aurora Bowl on Edward St. in Aurora. CUBS AND SCOUTS The first Oak Ridges Cub Pack will start off the new season with a week long camp for the boys. The camp will be held from Aug. 28 to Sept. 2 at the Woodland Trails Camp in the Stouffville area. Cubs will resume their regular meetings Sept. 12. They meet from 4 to 6 pm. each Monday.
