Lightning hits home, $7,000damage Bike ride preparation underway In another fire in Rich- mond Hill, Sept. 3, $5,000 damage was done to a vacant house on Con- cession 1. Family Services names director The fire, which oc- curred in the basement of Kaj Jacobson‘s house at 393 Fernleigh Circle, was put out by Richmond Hill Fire Department. An estimated $7,000 damage was done in a fire at a home in Richmond Hill, Sept. 1 about 5:50 p.m.. when lightning hit the TV set. The second annual bike- a-thon sponsored by the Kinsmen Club of Markham will take place Saturday, Sept. 17.
