On Sunday they came up with a fine display of teamwork to defeat the visiting Oshawa team 5-3. The fact that five Baif forwards popped in goals was indicative of the hustle and team play style of the peewees. On Friday night the Barrie team was sent home from Richmond Hill nursing a 4-0 shutout administered by Cadillac Baif. Again it was teamwork that did the job as four different Baif forwards scored-while a tight defence and steady goalkeeping by Dave Bone kept Barrie off the scoresheet. The “third” victory for the peewees was ac- complished by the parents of the players. They displayed a high degree of teamwork and hard work to run a suc- cessful dance. The dance was held Saturday at the Richvale Community Centre and THORNHILL AREA RECREATION COMMITTEE Place: Time: UPLANDS SKI HOLE. THORNHILL 9:00 AM.
