One special event has already taken place. On the evening of November 22, Sears in Hillcrest Mal] opened its doors to disabled customers only. Many patients and their families had a most enjoyable shopping trip. Another big day is the White Elephant and Bake Sale on Saturday, December 10 from 11 am. until 3 pm. in the Lecture Hall at the hospital. Although there is a weekly program of activities, during the Christmas season the staff try to arrange special entertainments. Proceeds from this event will go to the Recreational Fund for the Unit. Patients, staff and volunteers are working hard to make this a successful day. Please come out and support them. HOSPITAL AUXILIARY The Buttonville Branch is holding their annual Euchre, Sale of Home Baking and Handcrafts on Friday, December 9 at 7:30 Buttonville. The $1.50 admission includes prizes, lucky draw ticket and refreshments. COMING EVENT It is anticipated that the renovated Obstetrical and Delivery Area in Phase III of the hospital will be opening in February of 1978.
