He ap- peared at a show cause hearing yesterday. VOLATILE TEMPER On March 25 at 5:45 pm, a man visited the home of Terry Moscrop of Wellington Street West in Aurora. Once inside he became enraged and proceeded to break furniture causing $125 damage. The police were notified and, upon arrival, arrested the man. En route to the cruiser, the accused person tried to escape but was overpowered by police. He eventually kicked out the right rear window of the car causing another $75 damage. Police have charged Steven Meulmeester, 17, of Kingston, Ontario, and Douglas Andrew Long, 16, of Sheppard Avenue in Downsview with conspiracy to commit the indictable offence of theft and possession of stolen property. The first man was held in custody for a show cause on March 22 and the second was released for a court appearance on April 3. RADIO UPSET HIM , On March 24 at 3:50 pm. a police officer went to a home in Old Towne Place in Markham and found a man in an intoxicated condition. During the arrest a scuffle ensued and the man smashed a window in the storm door of the complainant’s home. He also kicked the arresting officer’s portable radio and broke off the antenna. Charged with being intoxicated in a public place, causing mishief to private property and causing mischief to public property is Michael C. Emerson, 18, of Station Road, King City. He was taken to 28 Division and later released for a court appearance on April 11. STOLEN CB On March 21 at 1:45 pm, two men were ap~ prehended near a car which was parked in the lot of the Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill. One of them had a plastic bag containing a coat hanger designed to unlock car doors, a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. After being taken to 28 Division for further questioning, they admitted to looking for a CB radio to steal. The car of the second man was searched and a CB radio was found. It had been stolen earlier in the day from a vehicle parked in the plaza at Yonge Street and Meadowview Avenue in Thornhill. On January 25, a thief forcibly entered the house of Sheila Fitzackerley, of Six Penny Court and stole a ring and monies worth $300. On February 8, the man broke into the home of Ralph Blackborow, of Almond Crescent, and upon searching the house, was confronted by the owner‘s son. He fled the scene. It was learned the man forcibly entered the home of Jack Hoffman of Simonston Boulevard, Thornhill, on February 20 and stole jewelry, silverware and monies totalling $1,200. BUSY BURGLAR On January 4, a man entered the home of Alfons Kreuzer of Dalmeny Road in Thornhill by breaking the side door. He took a quantity of jewelry and cash worth $4,000. A warrant was issued and he was arrested at 11 am. on March 20. As a result of an investigation, further charges were laid. BEER BOTTLE BERSERK On March 20 at 5:15 p.m.. a man was driving a car in the underground parking lot at 16 Elgin Street in Thomhill.
