York Central Hospital Foundation. the fund raising arm of the hospital, will try to raise $600,000 by 1980 in order to proceed with renovations of the original hospital building. Hospital Foundation seeking more than $ 72mi/lion in Total costs for the renovations are expected to be around $1,950,000. The foundation has close to $450,000 already. and Government grants will amount to $900,000. leaving $600,000 to come from the community. In an exchange of ideas, they started a new tradition in the com- munity. Art in the Park was held last summer at the Mill Pond and the at- tendance prompted a repeat performance this year. This year’s program will be held June 25 (Sunday) at the Mill Pond from noon to dusk. Everyone is welcome to attend. Bring a picnic if you like and enjoy the exhibits of art work. Art in Park at Mill Pond this Sunday Artists participating this year will include: Elsie Edmed, Lydia Hachmer, Janet Waterhouse, Judith Tonzalin, Carol Shugar, Khatcho Yazedjain, May McKay, Anna Hunter and Amelia McIntyre.
