By GALE FERRANDO Richmond Hill TV squeaked out an 8-7 victory over Oak Ridges Shoes in bantam play in the Richmond Hill Minor Ball Association. RH. Auto Body downed Loughlin 11-7. Larry Currie and Trevor McLaughlin did an ex- cellent job in combined pitching duties for RH. Auto Body. Bruce Nelson was very effective on the mound for Loughlin while Brian Nelson played a heads-up game at third. TYKES Carcones Esso dumped Bender Rugs 23-20. Rick Dimonte was the gun for Carcones as he homered twice. Paul Black did a great job of pitching for his first time on the mound. Jeff Justice. Bruce McLean, Mike McLaughlin and Rob Centa came on strong offensively scoring at least three runs apiece. Aaron Dealy connected for a grandslam homer for Bender while Steven Venn went three for three. Todd Westell fielded a great game catching a popfly. Dave Mashinter laced a grandslammer for Oak Ridges. Other games saw: SQUIRTS R.F. Mote defeated N.S. Smith 6-3. Both teams put in an excellent showing with strong hitting for Mote by Jason Trenton. Junior girls action saw Rumble Transport trounce Powell Fencing 9- 3. Homering for Rumble was Janet Fournier and Karen Mross. Christy Bullock went two for three as did Rael McVeigh. Denise Norman fielded an excellent game for Powell catching a pop fly. Wendy Tulloch went two for three at bat while Darlene went one for two. PEEWEE Denise Daggett wnet four for four. Heather Moon made an excellent catch on second for Belhaven‘ Allison Kent played a great all round game connecting for a home run and catching a pop fly. INTERMEDIATE GIRLS Perry Hill whipped Hilltop Bowl 23-19. Susan Goodwin connected for a beautiful grand slam homer for the winners while Heather McLean came up with a home run on a hunt. Deann made a fantastic double play on second. Tracey Clement played a great game for Hilltop going four for four at bat including a homerun and caught a nice pop fly while fielding. Record Shop 13. Dairy Queen 12. Nice tight game with excellent playing on the part of both teams. Debbi Blain connected for a homer and a single for the winners. Anna Barry also homered for Record Shop. Vicki Dawson came up with a triple and double. Superb hitting for Dairy Queen by Lisa Ash and Colleen, with fine backing by Anne Marie and Nadine Morrison. SENIOR GIRLS Fisher Sports 31. Ramsey Rec. 28. Karen Harrison was outstanding at the plate for Fisher with two home runs, a triple and two singles. Good game for Ramsey with excellent hitting by L. Foch and D. Quinn.
