ATOM The Oak Ridges Pizza Delight team competed in the Flesherton Invitational Tournament losing their first game and then coming right back and defeating Durham 4-2., ‘ The win put them into the semi-finals next week. Pat Marzilli was the big gun for the winners with three goals with Fred Rossi getting the other one. Andrew Aldworth had two assists and Jay Greavette one. Danny Millan also got an assist. Nine-year-old George Zivic of Thornhill shows the form here that gained him first place in Boys Level 3 competition in the Metro East Gymnastic championships for Langstaff Gymnastic Club. Zivic compiled 30.30 of a possible 40 points. Shawn Mieske scored both Pizza goals against Owen Sound with assists to Rossi, Aldworth. and Marzilli. The older boys com» peted in Junior Level III. Garry James and Scott Thompson. both of Thornhil], represented the club successfully by finishing first and second respectively. James scored 54.60 and Scott Thompson 53.5 of a possible 60 points for very high event averages. [I was an exceptionally successful competition 'for the young gymnasts from Langstaff. For most of them it was their first competition ever. The long hours of hard work are now beginning to pay off.
