That could be the motto for the Richmond Hill Town League hockey allstars who romped to a three win and no 1055' record on the weekend in the annual Bradford hockey tournament. “We got together for the first time to play the Richmond Hill Provincial A Rams a few weeks ago." said coach Barry Bingham. “The boys found they enjoyed playing together so much they've been doing it ever since." That’s why they decided to enter the Bradford tournament and the rest is history. The Hill team blitzed by the opposition winning 5-3 against Murfin Shell of Newmaflxet, 80 against L. H. Oliver of Sharon, and 7-2 against Robinsor Gulf of Bradford. Not faring so well but giving it the old college try was a second all star team from the Richmond Louise Brisbois of Thomhill will be one of the swimmérs competing this Sunday in the Junior Trials for Central East at Thornlea Swimming Pool. Swim Meet The meet runs from 10 am. to 1 pm. at Thornlea Swimming Pool on Bayview Avenu»e. The competitors are vying for 'the Ontario competitions. The Richmond Hill 810 Pitch Softball league will commence its second season of operation with a tripleheader May 27 at the Town Park beginning at 6 pm. The league has ex- panded from four teams to six this season with the Red Eyes and the Misfits joining forces with the returning Sudsers (last year‘s champs), the Bombers, the 01d Jays and the Ball Machine. “ A11” fleh‘ms“ will be' equipped with new sweaters and caps. The opening games see the Red Eyes meeting the Sudsers at 6 pm; the Bombers against the Misfits in the middle game and the Old Jays going against the Ball Machine. All teams will play.15 games each with a final roundrobin tournament held, involving all the teams, to decide a champion. Hill league. They lost their first game 3-2 to Robinson Gulf and the second one 8-2 to the Bradford Allstars. JELLING “This was the team‘s, fourth time together,” said Bingham. “and they've just started to jell. SUN VALLEY The “togetherness” has become so infectious the team is in the early stages of planning a trip to Sun Valley in the United States to compete in a tournament there. But back to Bradford.
