The win put the Auto boys back into a first-place tie with the same (eam. Diceman Struck out 12 batters. Town’s two runs came in the second inning as John Uprichard tripled in Diceman and Steve Black. Luke Lefevre took the loss. Barrow‘s regained a share of fifSI place with a 743 come-from- behind win over Richmond Hill Auto Body. The Hill attack was led by Val Steffan who hit a two-run homer in the firSt inning and Billy Hunter who hit a bases-empty one in the third. Rob Forget socked a two-run doub1e in the fifth giving the Hillers a four-run cushion but i( wasn’t enough. Barrow‘s pitcher Billy Hamilton sparked a comeback in the sixth inning with a two-run triple. Roger Ball also knocked in a pair of runners. Luke Lefevre was the winner in relief. Lori, and sister Dianne Bordignon all easily qualified for further competition on the Sunday bUt the three girls opted out of the Colgate Games in favor of the Brampton FeStival because of the larger number of age events available in the Flower City meet. Another impressive performer was Clayton Crawford, also of Howiu, who achieved 13 points winning the standing jump, Shot put. long jump, 200 metre run. and was also on the winning Howiu relay team. jumpers.“ 15 out of 15 possible points.
