Surely The Ukrainian Dance Troupe thrilled audiences all afternoon with their precision and physical stamina. They are called Nepro. after the largest river in the Ukraine. PONTIAC BUICK (1975) LTD Everyone recalls the story of Robin Hood and his band of merry men. Here. PLS. a drama group affiliated with the University of Toronto‘s Department of Medieval Studies, does a re-enactment of the famous meeting of Robin and Friar Tuck. David Parry plays the friar and Reed Needles is Robin Hood. Robin gets licked this time. The festival was full of historic memorabilia â€" buggies. wagons and buildings. If you look closely, you can see York North MP John Gamble. a babe in the woods when it comes to federal politics. Definitely a highlight of the Festival Parade and the day's activities, the King‘s Royal Yorkers. Thanks to a Wintario grant and the Museum of Applied Military History, Canada‘s oldest English-speaking regiment has been recreated. A gallant United Empire Loyalist group. it existed from 1777 through 1784. They usually don‘t smile so much but a horse-drawn cart preceded them in the parade, and they joked about who would step in the mess.
